Ashir Madaan

Ashir Madaan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ashir started their career as a Research Intern at Alcatel-Lucent, where they focused on identifying opportunities for the company in India. Ashir also worked as a Marketing Executive at Nucleus Software, where they devised metrics for measuring marketing ROI and organized events for brand awareness.

Ashir then moved into the e-commerce sector, working as a Category Manager at ShopClues, where they were responsible for business planning and strategy formulation. Ashir later joined Ounass as a Senior Product Analyst, analyzing product performance.

In 2018, Ashir became a Product Manager at Junglee Games, where they scaled the Rummy business through product innovations and growth strategies. Ashir then joined Hike as a Product Manager, before being promoted to Senior Product Manager and then Lead Product Manager.

In 2021, Ashir joined MX Player as a Senior Product Manager, leading a team to build a social gaming platform application. Currently, they are working at Hike in the role of Lead Product Manager.

Ashir Madaan completed their education at three different institutions. Ashir first attended Modern Vidya Niketan in Faridabad in 2007-2008, but did not obtain a degree or field of study from there. Ashir then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2008 to 2012. Finally, they attended Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, from 2013 to 2015, where they completed a Post Graduate Program in Management with a focus on Marketing and Operations. In addition to their formal education, Ashir obtained certifications in "Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals" from the University of Virginia in 2019 and "Marketing Fundamentals" from Coursera in 2014.
