Gonçalo Dias

Gonçalo Dias has been working in the optical transceiver and telecommunications industry since 2016. In that time, they have held three roles in three different companies. From 2016 to 2019 they worked as an Optoelectronics, Firmware and Telecommunications Engineer at Altice Labs. In this role, they worked on multiple innovation projects in optical transceivers across multiple standards. In 2019, they moved to API Technologies Corp. as a Product Design Engineer (Optoelectronics\\Firmware). In 2020, they took on the role of Principal Applications Engineer at HiLight Semiconductor Ltd., where they support customers in optical transceiver design, hardware and software integration, mass production manufacturing, customer enquiries/requirements, RDK's for customers and new generation IC's Demos, and PON consulting. Gonçalo also holds the role of Senior Application Engineer at HiLight Semiconductor Ltd.

Gonçalo Dias obtained a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidade de Aveiro between 2011 and 2017.
