R Andrew Hill has extensive work experience in various roles. R Andrew started their career in 1998 at Arrow Electronics as an RMA Coordinator, where they assisted retailers and end users with returning defective storage and worked on eliminating billing redundancies. In 2007, they joined Hill Brothers Chemical Co. as a Regional Programs Representative, responsible for maintaining and expanding compliance programs and conducting customer seminars on ammonia safe handling. R Andrew later held positions as the Human Resources Director and Director of Human Resources at the same company.

From 2018 to 2019, they attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in International Business.

Between 2015 and 2017, they also studied at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015, they attended Truckee Meadows Community College and received an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management.

In 1990, they completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Saddleback College.

In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. In August 2023, they became a certified Wine Snob through Wine Folly. In January 2022, they obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM. And in December 2017, they earned the SHRM-CP certification, also from SHRM.
