Doug James

Doug James currently serves as the Senior Director at the Church Ambassador Network of Texas, a position held since July 2024, focusing on connecting church leaders with government officials to further God's Kingdom. Previously, Doug has had a long tenure at Hill Country Bible Church in Austin since June 1994, where roles include Community Impact Pastor and Executive Pastor, overseeing significant growth in attendance and ministry outreach. With foundational experience in higher education administration at both The University of Texas at Austin and West Texas A&M University, Doug has directed numerous student housing and developmental programs. Doug holds an MS in Business Administration and a BBA from West Texas A&M University.
