Maureen Polivka

Maureen Polivka is the Chief Nursing Officer for Hill Country Memorial. She leads both the nursing and quality teams in the commitment to Remarkable Health Care for the community through the development and strengthening of a professional, collaborative and patient-focused practice environment.

With over 30 years of healthcare experience and more than 15 in healthcare leadership, Ms. Polivka holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Catholic University and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University. Ms. Polivka served on the Texas Board of Nursing Task Force on Implications of Growth of Nursing Education Programs, and the Texas Action Coalition Rural Health Task Force. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Executives and the Virginia State Bar. Ms. Polivka takes great pride in demonstrating the value of nursing and in developing future nursing leaders through shared governance systems that foster autonomy, empowerment and accountability.
