Andrew is a partner in the employment and pensions team, specialising in work for the public sector.
Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and joined Hill Dickinson in 2001. He has extensive experience in a range of employment law matters, undertaking advocacy in the Employment Tribunals and the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
Andrew has conducted litigation in matters in the Court of Appeal and advises on all aspects of an increasingly complex area of law, including TUPE, the working time directive, race, sex and disability discrimination and redundancy. Andrew is one of the team recognised by the Liverpool Law Society, in the award of 2009 Employment Team of the Year, and a member of the public sector team - a team dedicated almost exclusively to NHS employment work - and has years of experience dealing with NHS employment issues. He is involved in extensive litigation ongoing nationally relating to equal pay and leads a team which is on the panel of the NHS Resolution approved firms for equal pay. Andrew’s experience in this area has led to him acting for local authorities in similar mass equal pay litigation.
Andrew obtained a 2:1 honours degree in law from what is now De Montford University in Leicester.
