David is a partner in the construction team.
David has over 34 years of experience in contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering matters both domestically and internationally. David's work often involves complex challenges and legal issues where the emphasis is always on practical and cost-effective solutions.
David thrives on finding solutions to complex issues. He is very much a team player, and is able to translate his in-depth legal knowledge to find cost-effective and practical ways forward.
David has a wide range of experience. He has been involved in numerous high-level disputes covering the full range of dispute resolution processes (e.g. litigation, arbitration, adjudication, expert determination across the full range of construction projects). Similarly he has in-depth experience of non-contentious projects ranging from commercial developments to energy, infrastructure and complex engineering.
David qualified as a solicitor in 1986, having previously obtained his law degree in Keele University. He has worked in both private practice and in-house, and both within the UK and abroad.
