Roderick Palmer

Rod has been a partner in the London commercial team since 2001, dealing with all types of corporate, finance and banking transactions. He also heads up the oil and gas team.

Rod has over 25 years' experience and particular specialisms in the shipping, asset finance and aviation spheres.

In relation to the oil and gas industry, Rod has conducted legal negotiations for a substantial number of off-shore supply agreements with oil majors, secured financing agreements, equity participation with EBRD, and specific transactions including the acquisition of assets and on-going businesses in the sector.

He is a former member of the Law Society Company Law Committee and a current joint editor of the ship finance section of Practical Law and Security Precedents.
