Stephen Muterspaugh

Stephen Muterspaugh is an experienced theatre professional currently serving as the Executive Artistic Director at Hillbarn Theatre since April 2023. With a long-standing association with Actors' Equity Association as a Theatre Actor since July 2000, Stephen has held significant roles in various organizations, including Artistic Operations Manager and Digital Content Director at TheatreWorks from May 2018 to April 2023, and Resident Artist and Education Programs Manager at San Francisco Shakespeare Festival from March 2010 to November 2018. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Artistic Director and overseeing marketing efforts at Jewel Theatre Company from July 2016 to May 2018. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Arizona State University, attended from September 1996 to June 1998, and received training at PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre from 1998 to 2000.
