Jon Wallender

Jon Wallender is an experienced educator currently serving as a Vocational Teacher at Hillcrest Educational Centers, Inc. since October 2017. Previously, Jon worked as a Tutor at ClubZ! Tutoring, where support was provided to students in Springfield, MA, in English Language Arts. With a strong background in history education, Jon taught at the Academy at Swift River from 1999 to 2012, focusing on emotionally and academically challenged students while developing curriculum aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Jon holds a Master of Education in Education/History from Westfield State University, along with teaching certifications and degrees from several institutions, including a Bachelor of Arts in History from SUNY New Paltz and an Associate of Arts from Berkshire Community College.
