Todd M. Aerni has a diverse work experience in various roles related to real estate development and management, facilities management, and building departments. Todd M. has held the position of Vice President of Real Estate Development & Management at Hillcrest Health Services since 2014, where they are responsible for creating and maintaining commercial properties and ensuring their proper management. Prior to that, they served as the Facilities Management Director at Hillcrest Health Services.

Before joining Hillcrest, Todd worked as the President of Nebraska Code Consulting since 2006, where they provided professional level inspection and plan review services to building departments, particularly for small and overwhelmed jurisdictions. Todd M. also worked as the Chief Building Official at the City of Papillion from 2007 to 2014 and as a Plans Examiner at the City of Lincoln from 2004 to 2007.

Additionally, Todd has experience in the construction industry, having worked as a Site Supervisor/Coordinator at Vantage Pointe Homes Inc and as a Draftsman/Site Supervisor at Lyon Enterprises LLC. In their role at Lyon Enterprises, they were responsible for drafting services and site coordination, ensuring construction adhered to design, schedule, and budgetary guidelines.

Todd M. Aerni has a strong educational background with a focus on public administration, management, and architectural engineering technology. In 1998, they obtained a high school diploma from Fremont High School. Following that, they attended Southeast Community College from 1998 to 2000 and earned an associate's degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. In order to further their education, Todd enrolled at Bellevue University in 2009 and completed their bachelor's degree in Management in 2010. Todd M. continued their education at Bellevue University from 2011 to 2013 and received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a specialization in Public Administration.
