Hillel Milwaukee
Allison Hayden currently serves as the Assistant Director at Hillel Milwaukee since September 2023. Prior to this role, Allison spent nearly eight years at the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, where responsibilities included serving as Project Manager and Program Associate for the Israel and Jewish Community Relations Council, as well as Administrative Assistant to the Israel Center. Earlier experience includes working as an Insurance Biller at Zaheer Pediatric Associates, where duties involved converting medical records to an electronic system and managing patient payments. Additional roles included Tour Guide at the Reitz Home Museum and Receptionist at Angel Mounds State Historic. Allison holds a Bachelor's Degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from the University of Evansville, earned in 2011.

We strive to create a dynamic, warm, and celebratory Jewish environment for Milwaukee's university students and young adults (ages 18-32) where they can explore and express their Jewish identities and gain a sense of belonging within the Jewish community. We offer holiday and cultural programs, Shabbat dinners, leadership opportunities, social action projects, Israel programs, outdoor activities, and social gatherings. We welcome Jewish young adults from all backgrounds, including religious, secular, and interfaith. We are also open to all local students and young adults who have a sincere desire to learn more about Judaism and Israel.
