Maiya Edelson, Ed.D has extensive experience in the Hillel organization, starting in 2009 with Hillel at Davis and Sacramento as the Program Director. Maiya then moved on to Maryland Hillel, where they served as the Director of Educational Engagement and later as the Assistant Director. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as the Executive Director of the Texas Hillel Foundation. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Vice President for Organizational Learning at Hillel International, and they are scheduled to become the Vice President for Organizational Learning and Development in July 2023.
Maiya Edelson, Ed.D has an extensive education history. Maiya completed their Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC Rossier School of Education from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Informal/Experiential Jewish Education from The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) between 2006 and 2009. Maiya's Bachelor's Degree in Sociology was obtained from Columbia University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
