Brinda Somanadhan, PhD

Brinda Somanadhan, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and pharmaceuticals. Brinda is currently serving as the Lead Scientist at Hilleman Laboratories since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Takeda from October 2013 to February 2021, holding positions as Senior Scientist and Associate Manager. From May 2002 to August 2012, Brinda was the Senior Research Scientist at MerLion Pharmaceuticals Pte Ltd. Brinda also served as a Senior Research Chemist at the Centre for Natural Product Research from April 2001 to April 2002. Brinda started their career as a Research Technologist at the National University of Singapore from April 2000 to February 2001. Brinda gained valuable experience as a Post Doctoral Fellow at The Royal Danish School of Pharmacy from March 1997 to June 1998, where their research focused on NMR spectroscopy and the evaluation of phytochemistry in natural products.

Brinda Somanadhan, PhD, completed their education from 1993 to 1997. During this time, they attended the University of Copenhagen, specifically Københavns Universitet, where they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Natural Products Chemistry.
