Li-Xing Tay

Li-Xing Tay has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. They started their career in 2011 as an Engineer I in Upstream Manufacturing at Baxter BioScience Manufacturing SARL. In this role, they were involved in technology and process transfer from overseas sites, commissioning of new manufacturing suites for biologics, and spearheaded projects on upstream bill of materials determination and new materials setup. Li-Xing then progressed to become a Mfg Team Leader II in Suite 2 at Baxter BioScience, where they continued to oversee biologics manufacturing processes and projects. They joined Takeda Vaccines Pte Ltd in 2014 as a Scientist in Process Development (Downstream) and worked on process development for downstream processes until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, Li-Xing took on the role of Senior Scientist- Technical Services (Projects) at Takeda Vaccines Pte Ltd. They are currently working as a Senior Scientist at Hilleman Laboratories Singapore Pte Ltd.

Li-Xing Tay attended Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science. No further details about their field of study are provided.
