Jared Friend

Jared Friend has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Jared began their career at Croman Corp in 2004 as a Second in Command S-61. From there, they moved to Hillsboro Aviation, Inc. where they held various roles including Certified Flight Instructor, Line Pilot, Chief Instructor, and Safety Manager. In 2011, Jared joined Sinclair Broadcast Group as Chief Pilot KATU. Jared then returned to Hillsboro Aero Academy in 2017 as Director of Corporate Projects. Jared later took on the roles of Helicopter School General Manager and Chief Instructor. Overall, Jared has demonstrated expertise and leadership in the aviation field throughout their career.

Jared Friend's education history shows that they attended Hillsboro Aviation in the year 2002 to 2003, where they received helicopter flight training. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Flight Instructor license from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in August 2005. In July 2006, they obtained the Certified Flight Instructor Instrument license, followed by the 141 Chief Flight Instructor license from the FAA in April 2009. Most recently, in November 2020, they became the 133 Chief Pilot, also certified by the FAA.
