Aimee Thomson

Aimee Thomson is an experienced counselor currently serving as the College and Career Counselor and Lead School Counselor at Hillsborough High School since August 2017. Thomson designs and maintains a comprehensive college and career counseling program that supports ten school counselors and 2400 students and their families, providing individualized meetings covering various topics including testing, application assistance, and financial aid. Prior to this role, Thomson was a School Counselor at Delaware Valley Regional High School, managing a caseload of approximately 210 students, and served as the Associate Director of Admission at Rider University, where mentoring junior staff was a key responsibility. Earlier in the career, Thomson worked as a Consultant at Accenture. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Counseling Services with a focus on School Counseling from Rider University and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Rutgers University.
