Mitch Moosavi, M.D., serves as a Staff Pathologist at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow since July 2020, where responsibilities include medical director of blood banking/transfusion medicine and special coagulation, alongside surgical pathology, cytopathology, clinical and laboratory informatics, and laboratory administration. Additionally, Mitch Moosavi holds the position of Medical Director of Laboratory at Hillsdale Hospital since January 2022. Previously, a fellow in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine and Coagulation at Emory University from July 2019 to June 2020, and Chief Resident at University of California, Los Angeles from July 2015 to June 2019, Mitch Moosavi focused on clinical and laboratory informatics, particularly in implementing a real-time transfusion dashboard. Education was obtained at Texas A&M University, culminating in a Doctor of Medicine degree.
