Gabriella Marvin

Gabriella Marvin has a diverse range of work experience. Gabriella started their career as an Intern at the US Human Rights Network, where they assisted in coordinating shadow reports and managing outreach efforts. Gabriella then worked as a Steward for Lindblad Expeditions/National Geographic, maintaining cabin and dining areas during expeditions. Following that, they worked as a North American Language and Culture Assistant for NALCAP, preparing coursework materials for high school students. Gabriella then served as an AmeriCorps Member at Youth Villages, providing tutoring and mentoring to youth with mental health challenges. Gabriella later joined Hillside, Inc., first as a Community Programs Coordinator, assisting in program management and support, then as a Community Relations Manager, managing volunteer opportunities and event planning. Currently, they serve as the Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement at Hillside, promoting mental health awareness initiatives and building relationships with stakeholders.

Gabriella Marvin has a strong educational background in public administration and political science. Gabriella obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Advocacy and Social Impact from Georgia State University, where they studied from 2021 to 2023. Prior to their master's degree, Gabriella earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from the same university, attending from 2011 to 2013.
