Julia Ferrell, LCSW, MPH, ACM-SW, currently serves as the Manager of Case Management and Clinical Social Work Preceptor at Emory Healthcare since July 2018, overseeing a 14-member team while facilitating training and ensuring quality in discharge planning. With experience as a Medical Social Worker, Julia has developed discharge plans, assessed post-acute care needs, and provided emotional support to patients and families. Additionally, Julia holds the position of Lead Therapist at Hillside, Inc. since May 2016, delivering in-home therapy using Dialectical Behavior Therapy and managing various administrative tasks. Julia's educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Social Work/Public Health and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, both from The University of Georgia.

Founded in 1888, Hillside is one of Atlanta's oldest non-profit organizations, providing treatment services for children ages 7-21 with severe emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges.
