Bree E. Cook is the current Director at Hillsides. Prior to their current position, they served as the Associate Dean of the School of Cultural & Family Psychology at Pacific Oaks College from June 2015 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and completing course schedules, program layouts, student advisement support, text book lists, syllabus management, and adjunct teaching assignments for all MFT programs in the school. Additionally, shecoordinated the recruitment, interviewing, hiring and training for adjuncts in the school.
From September 2014 to May 2015, Bree served as the Academic Coordinator at Pacific Oaks College. In this role, they were responsible for providing coordination and support for the African American Family Studies specialization, as well as streamlining the CFP adjunct hiring and training process. Bree also created and facilitated a CFP New Adjunct workshop for prospective adjuncts. Additionally, they were responsible for creating course syllabi, text selection, and lead faculty for newly developed Trauma Studies Specialization.
Bree E. Cook has a certificate from the Institute of Educational Management at Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and they are also certified in Educational Assessment, Evaluation, and Research from the WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy. Bree has a M.A. and Psy.D in Clinical Psychology from CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY, and a B.A. in Psychology from UC San Diego. Bree also has an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Santa Monica College. Bree E. Cook is also certified from the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) as a Certified Family Life Educator.
