Ashlei Martin

Ashlei Martin has extensive experience in animal care and management, beginning as a Kennel Assistant at Mt. Tabor Boarding & Grooming in 2004. Martin has held various roles, including Veterinary Assistant at Reynolda Veterinary Animal Hospital, Small Ruminant Educational Unit Assistant at North Carolina State University, and Research Assistant at the USDA. Notably, Martin served as head caregiver at Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary, managing the care of 116 monkeys and coordinating clinical trials, before advancing to positions such as Manager of Animal Care Operations at Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation and Animal Caretaker for primates at Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch. Currently, Martin serves as a Receptionist at Hilltop Animal Hospital since August 2016. Martin holds a B.S. in Animal Science from North Carolina State University, completed in 2007.
