Nick Dockery III

Nick Dockery III is a seasoned risk management professional currently serving as Vice President and Risk Advisory Director at Hilltop Holdings since February 2023, leading the Operational Risk Department and overseeing all operational risk programs for the organization. Prior to this role, Nick held various director-level positions at Charles Schwab from April 2018 to February 2023, focusing on digital risk programs and managing innovative solutions. Earlier experience includes roles as Business Risk Manager at Crowe Horwath LLP, and as a Business Advisory Services Consultant at Grant Thornton LLP, specializing in corporate banking and financial services. Nick began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Investment Grade Loan Syndication Analyst and later transitioned to auditing roles at Bank of America, following a dual concentration Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Internal Auditing from the University of Tennessee.
