Gene Ong is an experienced accounting professional specializing in multifamily real estate. Currently serving as an Associate Accountant at Hilltop Residential since January 2022, Gene Ong focuses on multifamily real estate accounting and financial reporting. Previous roles include Real Estate Accountant for a group of multi-family properties in the Hilltop portfolio and various positions in the oil and gas industry, including Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable Specialist at Integrity Gas Services. Gene Ong began the career as an Accounting Clerk at Empower Pharmacy and also worked as a temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk at Wholesale Electric Supply Co. of Houston, Inc. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Commercial Law from The University of Auckland.
