Director Institutional Asset Management Sales at Hilltop Securities

Louis Martine has extensive experience in the financial industry. Louis started their career as a Credit Analyst at Chemical Bank in 1986. Louis then worked as an Attorney at Barnes & Thornburg from 1992 to 1998. Afterwards, they joined Piper Jaffray, where they held various roles including Associate, Vice President, and Managing Director. During their time at Piper Jaffray, they played a key role in growing the Debt Capital Markets and established an investment banking presence in the Financial Business Services sector. In 2000, they transitioned to U.S. Bancorp Asset Management, where they served as the Senior Managing Director, Head of Distribution until 2018. Louis'sresponsibilities included leading sales, marketing, client services, communications, and product development for their institutional investment grade fixed income and money market fund business. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as the Managing Director of Institutional Sales at FAF Advisors, where they marketed and sold equity and fixed income strategies and mutual funds to the corporate sector. Most recently, they joined Hilltop Securities Inc. as the Director of Institutional Asset Management Sales, responsible for new business development and relationship management for the Asset Management team.

Louis Martine has a diverse education history with a focus on business and law. Louis obtained a Master of Management - MBA degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they specialized in Finance, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior. Prior to that, Louis earned a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Louis'sundergraduate education was completed at the University of Notre Dame, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree. During their time at Notre Dame, Louis specialized in Finance with a second major in English.
