Debra Distefano

Debbie DiStefano is an experienced academic and administrative leader with a strong background in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently serving as the Chief People and Compliance Officer and Chief People and Equity Officer at Hilltown Community Health Centers, Inc., Debbie has also held the position of Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Prior to this, Debbie worked at Springfield Lyceum College Prep as Director of Curriculum and ESL Teacher from August 2020 to August 2023. Debbie's academic career includes 19 years as a Full Professor at SEMO, where a wide variety of courses were taught through multiple formats, as well as a previous role as an Assistant Professor at Seton Hill University. Debbie holds both an MA and PhD in Spanish from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
