Mark Andersen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark began their career in 1973 as a Territory Sales Representative at National Sanitary Supply, where they worked for 26 years. In 1998, they ventured into entrepreneurship and started their own business, Andersen Enterprises. In 1999, they transitioned into the real estate industry as a Realtor at Re/Max Commercial Investments, and then moved to Re/Max Achievers in 2001. In 2002, they joined American Realty Brokers as a Realtor. In 2003, they briefly changed industries again and worked as a Towable Salesperson at Beaudry RV. In 2005, they transitioned into sales at Hillyard. Most recently, in 2016, they became an EMT-B at Ouray County EMS.

Mark Andersen obtained a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT) from Paradise Valley Community College in 2015. Prior to that, they attended Scottsdale Community College from 1977 to 1979, during which they pursued studies in Marketing and Psychology without completing a specific degree.
