J Ryan Buxbaum

J Ryan Buxbaum has a diverse work experience in supply chain and logistics. J Ryan is currently serving as the Head of Logistics at Hilti Canada since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Logistics Services at Hilti North America from May 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining Hilti, Ryan was associated with Mars Petcare US where they held multiple roles. J Ryan served as the Associate Director of Supply Chain: eCommerce and Specialty from June 2018 to April 2019, where they led remote teams and developed strategic operations for eCommerce customers and specialty brands. J Ryan also worked as the Associate Director of Supply Chain eCommerce and Affiliate from June 2017 to June 2018, managing teams and driving tactical and strategic operations with eCommerce customers and international affiliates. Prior to that, they held the position of Customer Supply Chain Manager eCommerce from August 2015 to June 2017, where they led a team and implemented operational efficiencies with pure play eCommerce customers.

Ryan also has experience working at Amazon as a Project Manager from July 2013 to August 2015. In this role, they forecasted demand, built relationships with inventory suppliers, and managed on-site inventory for assigned regions across the United States.

Before Amazon, they worked at On-Board Communications as a Sr. Account Manager/Inside Sales from February 2012 to July 2013, where they captured new customers, launched campaigns, and maintained customer relationships. Prior to that, they served as an Account Manager from July 2011 to February 2012, resolving issues and acting as the main point of contact for product distributors.

Ryan's earlier experience includes working as a Sales Support/Portfolio Manager at Abundant Income, LLC from March 2009 to July 2011, where they supported and trained a sales team and managed databases. J Ryan also worked as a Dallas Area Sales Manager/Project Manager at Build It Digital from April 2010 to June 2011, developing a cold market and exceeding sales goals.

J Ryan Buxbaum, MS SCM, obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Administration with a focus on Finance and Marketing from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas in 2009.
