Malcolm Saunders

Malcolm Saunders has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Most recently, they worked at Hilti Nederland BV, where they held positions such as Head of BIM Sales and Sales Manager in the Interior Finishing and BIM departments. Malcolm was responsible for project management, design, construction, and rebranding, as well as driving change management processes. Prior to that, they served as an Operations Manager at ScaleUpNation, supporting the development of the ScaleUp Fund. Malcolm also gained experience as an International Sales Manager at Boon Edam and as a Commercial Manager at Frost International. Malcolm started their career as an Owner/Entrepreneur at Urban Connection, providing building maintenance and contracting services, and later worked as a Project Manager at Bayveiw Construction. Malcolm began their professional journey as an Internship Junior Quantity Surveyor at Elizabeth's Developments.

Malcolm Saunders obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Stellenbosch University, which they attended from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a National Diploma in Building with a specialization in Construction Management from Nelson Mandela University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In terms of certifications, Malcolm obtained the PRINCE2® Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2017, and the GPI GPI Installatie certification from eX:plain in May 2021.
