Dr. Jamil Akhtar

Dr. Jamil Akhtar began their work experience in 2002 at GSK, where they served as a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance until February 2009. In April 2009, they joined Hilton Pharma (Pvt) Ltd, starting as a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance before being promoted to Director of QC and Product Development in April 2017.

Dr. Jamil Akhtar obtained their Master's Degree in Chemistry from Karachi University, attending from 1979 to 1985. Dr. jamil later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Karachi University, attending from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Akhtar has obtained various certifications in areas such as analytical techniques on Atomic Absorption, computerized system validation, development course for Managers, interviewing skills, leadership, Lean Sigma Green Belt, self inspection and audit training, out of specification training workshop, and train the trainer. The institutions from which they obtained these certifications include Shimadzu - Singapore, GSK, Pakistan Institute of Management, Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates/GSK, THAMES INTERNATIONAL, and GSK - Martin Moore.
