Dr Shaz Effendi

Dr. Shaz Effendi has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as Manager of Medical Affairs at Hilton Pharma Limited since January 2009, where responsibilities include managing clinical activities, upholding medical professional ethics, and liaising with health authorities and principals regarding clinical trials. Prior to this role, Dr. Effendi worked at Barrett Hodgson Pakistan from April 1998 to July 2002 as a Product Manager, overseeing the local anesthetic range and antibiotic products, achieving significant milestones including the successful launch of XyloAid 5% and Muconyl for cough. Dr. Effendi holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from King Edward Medical College, completed between 1985 and 1992, and completed secondary education at St Pauls English High School.
