Dennis Liang

Dennis Liang is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as Sr. Lead Data Scientist at Hilton since May 2023, focusing on the development of AI solutions using large language models and embedding techniques. Prior to this role, Dennis worked at Amazon as a Data Scientist in Machine Learning, leading projects on demographic prediction models. At Capital One, Dennis held dual roles as Manager and Principal Data Scientist, contributing to a personalized recommender system for small businesses. Experience at Uptake involved designing a solution recommendation system, while earlier positions included roles at the Environmental Quality Protection Foundation and Argonne National Laboratory, where Dennis engaged in representation and scientific research, respectively. Dennis holds a PhD in Physics from The Johns Hopkins University, an MPP in Public Policy from The University of Chicago, and a BA in Physics from Northwestern University.
