Luis Valdez

Luis Valdez possesses extensive experience in architecture, design, and construction within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Architecture, Design, and Construction for North America at Hilton since March 2018, Luis has successfully led over 70 new hotel developments, adaptive reuse, and brand conversion projects for full-service and lifestyle brands. Previously, as Project Manager at Wyndham Destinations, Luis managed amenity enhancements and redesigns for properties in Mexico and the western U.S. Luis's career began at Graham Downes Architecture, Inc. as a Draftsperson/Intern, followed by roles at MGM Mirage Design Group and Moser Architecture Studio, where significant contributions were made to the design of major hotel projects in Las Vegas. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Construction Management from NewSchool of Architecture & Design and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Architecture from both the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and the University of Pau and Adour Countries.
