Chief Business Development Officer at Hily

Helen Virt has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Helen began their career as an Organising Manager at AboutHR - recruiting agency in 2014. Helen then worked as a Contractor Translator at American Councils for International Education from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they joined the European Youth Parliament - Ukraine as a Project Manager and also served as a Board Member on Fundraising. In 2016, Helen worked as the Partnerships and Fundraising Manager at BRAINTV and served as the Chair of the Regional Development Council at the European Youth Parliament (EYP). In 2017, they worked as a Business Development Manager at uSupport.in.ua and as a Junior Translation Fellow at the 'Association4U' Project at the EU Delegation to Ukraine. In 2018, Helen held the position of Project Manager at both Taimi: LGBTQ+ Dating App and Hily - Dating App. Helen then progressed to become the Head of Business Development at both companies from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Helen holds the position of Chief Business Development Officer at both Taimi and Hily. In 2021, they became a Member of the Council at Women In Dating, a collective aiming to promote equity in the online dating industry.

Helen Virt has a Master's degree in International Business and Translation from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. In 2016 and 2017, they also attended the University of Warsaw as an exchange student, specializing in International Relations and Affairs. Prior to their Master's degree, they completed their Bachelor's degree in International Business from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, in 2013, Helen attended Stanton School of English for Business English classes focused on grammar and speaking.
