Mr. Girish Paman Vanvari is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. With over 27 years of consulting experience, Girish is the Founder of Transaction Square - a Tax, Regulatory and Business Advisory Firm.
Girish is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has been a rank holder across all levels. He completed his Bachelor's in Commerce from University of Mumbai.
A fervent champion of ethical tax practice and professional integrity in the Global Tax Eco-system, Girish had a 13-year stint with KPMG and had been the National Leader for Tax at KPMG India. He has been responsible for establishing and building the M&A Tax Business of KPMG India over the last decade. He has built an exclusive legacy of work in the M&A deals and restructuring transactions for some of the biggest deals in the industry. Prior to KPMG, Girish was at Arthur Andersen for over a decade.
Girish brings forth vast experience in the tax and regulatory regime which helps him provide practical insights across industries. His fundamental approach of delivering a 'conceptualization to execution' advice has led to decisions which have stood the test of times and authorities. Girish is a regular conference host, presenter and moderator at various tax conferences and seminars. He has been regularly featured in a number of international and Indian media outlets, newspapers and business magazines.
He also serves as an Independent Director on the boards of AurobindoPharma Limited and Tarsons Products Private Limited.

Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd is a coal tar pitch manufacturing company. The Company manufactures coal tar pitch used in the manufacture of aluminum, which is used in automobiles, televisions, rockets, beverage cans, wires, cables, smartphones, furniture and foil wraps, among others. It manufactures coal tar pitch, which finds downstream use in the manufacture of graphite electrodes in electric arc furnaces; specialized coal tar pitch, which is used in long war head missiles; advanced carbon, which is used in the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries; coal tar-based thermoplastic polymeric coating, which is used as an anti-corrosive material in underground and offshore pipelines; carbon black, which is used for reinforcement of elastomeric materials, and specialty carbon black with specific applications in plastics, fiber, inks and food grade materials. It also manufactures sulfonated naphthalene formaldehyde (SNF); poly carboxylate ether (PCE), and wood preservatives and fuel oils.
