Nema Nyar

Nema Nyar is an experienced Kirtan Artist, currently performing at the Himalayan Institute since August 2003 and with The Householders since 2012, a group specializing in Hiphop, Electronic Dance Music, and Kirtan Fusion. In addition to artistic pursuits, Nema serves as a Licensed Massage Therapist, providing wellness services that incorporate various techniques such as Jin Shin Jyutsu, Bowen, Shiatsu, and Myopathic Muscular Therapy. Nema holds a Bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in the performing arts from Oberlin College, where studies were completed from 1980 to 1984.
