Jess Simmons

Jess Simmons serves as Principal at Sunlight Peak Advisory, providing strategic support to leadership teams within mission-driven organizations. With extensive experience in growth and strategy, Jess has held key roles, including Chief Strategy/Growth Officer at Lillio and Chief Growth Officer at LENA, where leadership successfully managed multi-stage product growth and partnerships. Previously, Jess served as Executive Director at Reading Partners, successfully scaling operations and fundraising efforts nationally. Additional experience includes serving as Founding Project Director at EdVillage and working as an independent consultant to enhance nonprofit capacity and develop strategic programs. Educational credentials include an MS in Social Change Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Multicultural Education/Curriculum from Guilford College.
