Galen Alexander

Galen Alexander is an experienced public affairs professional currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs at hims & hers since November 2020. Prior roles include positions at Lyft in public affairs, Riff City Strategies as Director, and national communications at NextGen Climate. Galen has also held significant roles within the U.S. House of Representatives, including Communications Director and Legislative Adviser. Prior to these positions, Galen worked as Director of Communications and Policy for Democratic Party electoral campaigns, served as a researcher for Donna Edwards for Congress, and was a research assistant at the Institute for Policy Studies. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Bluffton University and participation in a Semester Abroad Program in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at Ulster University.
