Chirag Bhatt

Chirag Bhatt is an experienced tax professional with a robust background in indirect taxation and tax technology. Currently serving as the Head of Indirect Taxes at Hindalco Industries Limited since July 2019, Chirag has leveraged extensive consultancy experience in tax advisory, litigation management, and policy advocacy. Prior to this role, Chirag co-promoted S&N GST Enterprise LLP, focusing on tax technology and the functioning of GSTN and tax APIs. With a career that includes senior positions at EY, KPMG India, and Deloitte, amongst others, Chirag has played a significant role in India's first GST transformation assignment and has developed a comprehensive understanding of tax policy advocacy, compliance, and optimization strategies across various tax domains.
