Maithili Achrekar

Maithili Achrekar is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, currently serving as Assistant Vice President Corporate Legal and General Manager - Corporate Legal at Hindalco Industries Limited since July 2021. Prior to this role, Maithili worked as an Advocate at Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe from June 2012 to July 2021. In addition to legal practice, Maithili has contributed to academia as a visiting faculty member at St. Xavier's College and Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College from 2009 to 2013, as well as a teaching assistant at the Institute of Intellectual Property Studies. Maithili holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Mumbai, a Master's in Biotechnology from St. Xavier's College, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Government Law College, Mumbai, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai.
