Rohit Chourasia

Rohit Chourasia currently serves as the Head of Unit at Hindalco Industries Limited, overseeing the Alumina refinery since January 2025. Previously, Rohit held the position of Head of Production at UTKAL Alumina International Ltd. from December 2012 to September 2016. Rohit also has extensive experience at Vedanta Aluminium Limited as AGM of projects and as a project manager at Vedanta Resources Plc between 2006 and December 2012. Earlier in his career, Rohit was involved in various managerial roles in production at National Aluminium Company Limited from December 1990 to November 2006. Rohit holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from BIT Sindri, which was completed from 1986 to 1990, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from a public high school in Sahibganj during the same years.
