Meysam Sarshar

Meysam Sarshar is a Research Fellow at the Research Laboratories of Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, IRCCS, since March 2020, contributing to projects under Ricerca Finalizzata 2018 from the Italian Ministry of Health. Active as an Editorial Board Member for BMC Microbiology and Hindawi Publishing, as well as in editorial roles for Frontiers and MDPI, Meysam also serves on the Topic Board for Cancers MDPI. A Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Sapienza Università di Roma since March 2018, research focuses on the prevention of urinary tract infections and the behavior of uropathogenic Escherichia coli. Additionally, a scientific member at the Microbiota Research Group of Iran, Meysam has previously held a Doctoral Fellowship at Filas S.p.A. and worked as a Project Assistant at the Pasteur Institute of Iran. Educational credentials include a PhD in Infectious Diseases from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Master's degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from Islamic Azad University of Jahrom.
