Rev. Phillip Berghuis

Rev. Phillip Berghuis currently serves as a chaplain at Hinds Hospice and as the assistant rector at St Michael the Archangel Anglican Church. Previously, Phillip held positions as a chaplain resident at Community Health System and diocesan administrator for the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin. As a curate at Saint Columba Church, Phillip assisted the rector in ministering to the congregation. Training as a priest took place during seminary studies at Nashotah House, where Phillip earned a Master of Divinity. Educational background includes an Associate of Science in Nursing and an Associate of Arts from San Joaquin Delta College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of California, Davis. Early experience includes roles as a nurse supervisor and tutor, along with customer service experience at Starbucks Coffee Company.
