Brian Eklund

Brian Eklund serves as the Managing Director at Hines since October 2012, leading construction efforts for developments in the mid-Atlantic region. Previously, Brian held the position of Vice President of Construction, overseeing notable projects such as the Conrad Hotel and Retail at CityCenterDC and The Parks at Walter Reed. Earlier in Brian's career, senior project management roles at RW Smith Company involved supervising commercial retail construction in the Southeast United States, while initial experience as a Field Engineer/Estimator at Winter Construction focused on civil and site development projects. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Building Construction from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
