Mario Abbadessa

Mario Abbadessa is a seasoned professional in the real estate investment sector, currently serving as Senior Managing Director, Head of Transactions Europe, and Country Head Italy at Hines since January 2012. With extensive experience overseeing Italian investments, Mario has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, focusing on acquisition processes, investment modeling, and due diligence. Additionally, Mario contributes to the industry as Vice President at Confindustria Assoimmobiliare and a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy. Prior to Hines, Mario's career included roles as an Investment Analyst at Generali Real Estate SGR SpA and at European Investors, along with internships that laid a solid foundation in finance and strategy. Mario holds an MSc in Finance-Real Estate Finance from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Università Bocconi.
