James Miller

James Miller is an Associate at Hinman Straub P.C. since August 2022, following a role as a Legal Intern at Tabner, Ryan & Keniry LLP from January to May 2022. Previous experiences include internships and fellowships with The Honorable Stacy L. Pettit at Albany County Surrogate’s Court, where James participated in Albany Law School’s Judicial Field Placement Program and was a Fellow in the New York Bar Foundation Trust and Estates Law Section Fellowship. Additional legal internships were completed at Washington County District Attorney's Office and as an Outreach Coordinator for Chris Fink for U.S. Congress. James began professional development with internships at both New York Daily News and Columbia-Greene Media. James holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder.
