Shantel Ellis

Shantel Ellis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Lobbyist Compliance Coordinator at Hinman Straub P.C. since May 2021, Shantel previously worked at the City of Rensselaer, NY, from September 2017 to May 2021 as a Library Aide, responsible for managing circulation, serving diverse community needs, and addressing library policy issues. Prior to that, from March 2006 to August 2015, Shantel was a Scheduler at The Vascular Group, where duties included managing physician schedules and patient registration. Additionally, as a Co Consultant with EuropeAid from August 2014 to May 2015, Shantel contributed to developing policy recommendations for refugee integration. Shantel holds a Master of Arts in Governance and Rights from The New School and a Bachelor's of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from Goddard College.
