Raphael van Lierop's work experience includes founding and serving as the CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Hinterland, a company focused on combining art and technology in entertainment. Raphael also has experience as the Executive Creative Director and Co-founder of Radar Group, where they provided high-level creative direction, production guidance, and team leadership for multiple original IP projects.

Raphael van Lierop obtained a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature, History, and Classics from Bishop's University between 1996 and 1999. Later, in 2009, they attended Robert McKee's 'STORY' Seminar, focusing on story design and writing.
