Michelle Tressler is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in various roles across multiple industries. As Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Hinterland Brewery since 1995, Tressler has played a crucial role in shaping the company's strategy. Previous positions include Wisconsin Small Business Canvasser at Main Street Alliance, Co-Owner of Whistling Swan Hotel and Restaurant, and Stylist at ETCETERA LLC. Tressler began a career as an Account Executive at CAS Systems. Tressler holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a Co-Major in Business Administration from Creighton University, a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies from St. Norbert College, and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.

The Hinterland Way... Some call it the road less traveled or maybe it's an uphill climb. I look at it as a journey that I set out on years ago. Similiar to paddling a long stretch of river through the Wisconsin wilderness, we're never really sure what's around the next bend. It's been my mission to deliver only the best to those who have graced us with their patronage. In essence, Hinterland is a craft brewery hell bent on perfection and a couple of restaurants delivering a wild harvest to your plate.
