William Weerts

William Weerts has extensive experience in the aerospace industry. William started their career as a Research Engineer in Flight Control System at Aeroconseil from March 2008 to December 2009. William then joined Airbus Helicopters as an Engineer in Flight Control System from January 2010 to November 2015. Following that, they worked at Sterwings as a Drone Developer from January 2016 to June 2017, where they were involved in the development of an innovative drone called "AGILE." Currently, William is working at Hionos as a Lead System Engineer starting from July 2017.

William Weerts attended the Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile from 2002 to 2007. During their time there, they studied Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. In 2006, they also briefly attended Polytechnique Montréal, where they focused on Flight control and Mecatronics.
